Here is Pathan Aarzoo. I am student of government arts college talaja. Today I would to like to tell you about our Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma' full name is Rohit Gurunath Sharma.Sharma was born on April 30, 1987, in Bansod, Nagpur, in the state of Maharashtra, India. He first joined a cricket camp in 1999, when coach Dinesh Lad, a friend of his uncle’s, noticed his talent. Lad used to scout for talent in those days and was very impressed with the way Sharma bowled. Knowing that Sharma’s uncle would not be able to afford the fees for the school where Lad was coach, Lad convinced the school’s director to accept Sharma as a student and waive his entire fee so that he would have access to good training facilities. Sharma started off as a spinner before focusing on batting.

Sharma joined the IPL in 2008 and was signed on by the now-defunct franchise Deccan Chargers, based in Hyderabad, for $750,000 a year. He was part of the Deccan Chargers that won the second edition of the IPL in 2009. He took a hat-trick against the Mumbai Indians that year with his part-time off-spin.

Sharma made his senior-level debut in a List A game in 2006, scoring an unbeaten 31 for West Zone against Central Zone in the Deodhar Trophy. His run of scores in the tournament got him picked for the India A squad, and he made his first-class debut for India Athat team against New Zealand at Darwin later in 2006, scoring 57 and 22, respectively. India achieved a 3-wicket win over New Zealand. He subsequently made his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai, one of the leading (and hard to break into) teams in the Indian domestic circuit, in the 2006–07 season and impressed with a double hundred while playing against Gujarat, as well as a half-century in a winning cause in the final that year. Sharma has gone on to represent Mumbai throughout his first-class career.

Sharma’s international career kicked off with an ODI match against Ireland at Belfast in June 2007, when he took one catch but did not get a chance to bat or bowl. His T20I debut was later the same year, in the group game against England in the first T20I World Cup. Again, he didn’t get a chance to bat or bowl but took one catch, in a match remembered for Yuvraj Singh’s six sixes in an over. Sharma was Player of the Match in the quarterfinals against South Africa. He was also part of the team that won the T20I World Cup final, scoring a quick 30, the second highest score for India.

Sharma scored his first ODI half-century in November 2007 and had a run of good scores in the 2007–08 ODI series in Australia, which India won. He scored two ODI hundreds in 2010 but subsequently had a loss of form and fitness, which led to him being dropped from the eventually victorious 2011 ODI World Cup team. His loss of form continued for a couple of years, and he continued to be in and out of the team.

It was in 2013 that the captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, promoted Sharma as opener, a position at which he has been a success. His partnership with Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order has yielded great results for India. He scored his first ODI double hundred against Australia the same year and followed it up with a second double hundred against Sri Lanka in 2014. The latter score of 264 remains an ODI record for highest individual score. Sharma made his Test debut in 2013, scoring 177 against West Indies in Kolkata, in Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell series. He was, however, unable to hold his position in the Test team for a few years after a run of poor scores in overseas Test matches.

In 2015 Sharma scored a T20I hundred against South Africa at Dharamshala, India, becoming the second Indian to score a hundred in all three international formats. In 2017 he scored a T20I hundred against Sri Lanka at Indore in only 35 balls, equaling David Miller’s record for the fastest T20I hundred. He was also part of the ODI World Cup team that year for the first time and scored one century as India made it to the semifinals.

In 2017, when Virat Kohli, captain on the Indian ODI team at that time, was rested, Sharma was appointed captain of the ODI team in a series against Sri Lanka. He led India to victory and scored his third ODI double hundred.

The 2019 ODI World Cup, where India made it to the semifinals, saw Sharma in a rich vein of form. He scored five centuries, the most in a single World Cup edition, and led the run charts. He was also vice captain during the tournament. The year also saw Sharma play the opening batsman role in Tests for the first time; he scored two hundreds in a match against South Africa.

Sharma was appointed vice captain of the Test team during the 2020 series in Australia and scored critical runs in a series India won. He continued to score heavily in the 2021 twin series against England. In February 2022 he was appointed captain of the Indian team in all three formats.

In the 2023 ODI World Cup, Sharma led the Indian team to a clean sweep in the league phase and, in the process, set a record for the most hundreds and the most sixes in ODI World Cup history. India went on to lose the final against Australia, after which Sharma took a break from limited-overs cricket.

Sharma led India to its second T20I World Cup victory in 2024 and scored three half-centuries in the tournament. He announced his retirement from the T20I format in a press conference soon after India won the final match against South Africa by 7 runs. He retired from Tests ahead of India’s tour of England in 2025.

Food:Rohit is an eggetarian and loves eating aloo paranthas and Chinese cuisine. He ensures he consumes eggs only outside his home due to family traditions.

Hobbies: He enjoys playing video games, watching films, and traveling.

Sports:Rohit is a fan of football, particularly Real Madrid FC.

Sleep:He's known to love sleeping a lot.

NAAC peer team visiting

I am writing this blog about the visit of the NAAC peer team in our college. Naac Peer Team Visiting program was held in our college Government Arts College Talaja on January 24 and 25. 

On first day The Naac Team came to our college at 9:30 am.Rangoli was created for their Welcome ceremony. They were welcomed with 13 claps from the NSS. Then our Principal Dr Manisha Shah was welcomed with a floral buckey.Welcome by Dr Purvi Upadhyay and Dr Aniruddhasinh Gohil as the co -ordinator of NAAC held in our college.

After that the lamp was lighted by the dignitaries and professors.We all know that according to Indian culture a lamp should be lit while doing any good work. Due to which no one gets in the way of God's grace and blessings.

Then they met with presentation made by our purvi mam and each staff members Before knowing more, let's take a look at what is NAAC?

The NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC) conducts assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) such as colleges, universities or other recognised institutions to derive an understanding of the ‘Quality Status’ of the institution. NAAC evaluates the institutions for its conformance to the standards of quality in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes, curriculum coverage, teaching-learning processes, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organisation, governance, financial well being and student services.

NAAC stands for National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country.

NAAC's primary objective is to evaluate the quality of education, research, and infrastructure of HEIs and provide accreditation accordingly. The council uses a rigorous assessment process to evaluate institutions based on seven criteria:

1. Curricular Aspects

2. Teaching-Learning and Evaluation

3. Research, Consultancy and Extension

4. Infrastructure and Learning Resources

5. Student Support and Progression

6. Governance, Leadership and Management

7. Innovations and Best Practices

Based on the assessment, NAAC awards institutions with a grade (A++, A+, A, B++, B+, B, C) and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). This accreditation status is valid for a period of five years.

NAAC accreditation benefits institutions in several ways:

•Enhances credibility and reputation

•Improves quality of education and research

•Increases student enrollment and employability

•Facilitates funding and grants from government agencies

•Encourages institutional autonomy and accountability

Overall, NAAC plays a crucial role in promoting quality assurance and excellence in higher education institutions across India.

They 3 are our chief Guests. There nature and behaviour is so good.

Then there was a lunch  for each of our students. Then we all students are get lunch in group.and we are Went to prepare for the cultural program.parenta meeting was held at 2 o'clock in and Meeting with an alumnus or past students and their parents or visiting faculties.

The cultural program began at 5pm. Cultural program host by  Saiyda and Janaki of our college students they both are hosting very well. Many cultural dances were performed by our college students:Hoodo, Bharatanatyam, Drama etc.

Program ended at 6:30 pm at the end of group photos and we sang national anthem.

We have a lot of fun throughout the day. Stay in college with all friends and teachers whole day.It seemed as if there was some occasion. As a family was in the family, the college was not less than any occasion for the family.

The next day, on January 25, Naac Peer Team met with our teachers. And interacted with a student at each class.At 2 pm, Naac Peer Team departed from college. These 2 days we learned a lot. Our teachers have been doing lot of work for NAAC for many days.

Staff members did a very good decoration. I hope we get a good grade like our college hard work.🤞🏻

The Magician Of Art:Hanif Kureshi

I am Pathan Aarzoo. Today I would like to present to you the personality of such a person. For which it can be said that - lived less but lived well.

Hanif Kureshi, the co-founder of the St+art India Foundation,( Street Art India) and the man who revolutionised street art for Indians, unfortunately, passed away on Sunday, at the age of 41.

Kureshi was born on 12 October 1982 in Palitana. His birth place is Palitana. And he was a resident of Talaja. Hanif did his higher secondary education at M J Doshi high-school Talaja.He was fond of art from his childhood. In childhood, whenever he went for a walk, he used to take his drawing book with him.His passion for painting took him to pursue fine art in Maharaja Sayjirao University, Vadodara.

We are gutted and at a loss of words. Hanif was a gifted mentor, collaborator, friend, father and husband.His vision and charisma helped shape the landscape of public art in India with the countless projects.He has contributed to. He was dedicated to nurturing a community of artists, designers and creatives who trusted him with loyal guidance. He was a pioneering figure for graffiti and Street art with his tags spread across cities he travelled to.

It has been an honour for the St+Art, XXL and Guerrilla team to have known and worked with Hanif over the past 10 years. He lives on with the profound legacy he leave behind. It is a void that cannot be filled and we will dearly.

He died on 22 September 2024 in Goa.His last rites were performed in Palitana.

He played an extremely significant role in popularising street art in India and was a role model to many,” says art curator Rahul Bhattacharya.

“Our aim is to make art more accessible. When you are working in an art gallery, your concerns are different, but this is art on the streets, for everyone,” stated Kureshi in an interview with The Indian Express in 2022.

It was his interest in sign-board painting and hand-lettering that also led Kureshi to first explore the bylanes of India in search of street sign painters whom he began commissioning to paint alphabets in their unique styles and fonts. Realising how patronage for the art form was dwindling, he began digitising typefaces and brought them under the banner of HandpaintedType.

It was his search for neighbourhoods that would lend themselves to street art that led Kureshi to Delhi’s Lodhi Colony in 2013, on the recommendation of a friend. With its high walls and pedestrian-friendly lanes, the murals painted in the locality attracted immediate attention. This was not graffiti, associated with protest art, but an attempt to introduce India to street art, and boasted imagery in varied hues and messaging.

Gond artist Bhajju Shyam, who completed a work in Lodhi Colony in 2019, describes Kureshi as modest and courteous. “I have known him since around 2017-18. He was extremely patient and sincere. We had long discussions during the creation of the work — he would listen and offer constructive advice,” says Shyam.

Years later, Lodhi district is now often cited as India’s first art district. St+art India now organises and collaborates on art festivals across India, and has since painted murals in neighbourhoods in several cities, including Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai.

The great Hanif Kureshi was one of the top 50 artists of the international level. And I will proudly say that the famous artist Hanif Kureshi was my Mama(Uncle).We are very sad that he is no longer with us. He has earned so much name today by working hard. He has struggled a lot in his 41 years of life.

I Hope You Like My Blog. I am writing this blog only to let you know who Hanif Kureshi was.May Allah grant him Paradise.He has presented us with many such memorable street arts at a very young age.

ORIENTATION Program: Youth Power

I am Pathan Aarzoo. I am a student of Government Arts College Talaja.This is blog is on orientation program.This Blog is given by our pro.Hinaba Sarvaiya and Nishtha Makwana

Today on 12 September 2024 orientation program was held in our college.In which "Yuva Shakti Parashakti" was its main theme.Dr. Bharatsinh Gohil was invited as the chief guest and speaker in this program.He is the coordinator of NSS asso.professor &Head.

Bharat sir is our chief guest and speaker. We are listening to his lecture for the first time. The program begins.Today's program was hosted by Nishtha Makwana. Called Sheetal to sing shlok for Deeppragatya.After that the lamp was lighted by the dignitaries and professors.We all know that according to Indian culture a lamp should be lit while doing any good work. Due to which no one gets in the way of God's grace and blessings.

A student studying in our college presented a beautiful welcome song. And after that another student brother presented a beautiful bhajan. His performance was outstanding.He made the atmosphere happy with his performance.Ankhar now the time has come when our wait has come to an end. Bharat sir came and greeted all the professors.

He won the audience right from the beginning. First told them that "Maru Gujarat" then used the word "Our Gujarat". Having said this, he explained to us the importance of your birth place. He told many such features about Gujarat.Then he took us to the country and explained our country India and its importance and how our country is different from other countries.He explained that even if he took it to the country, he should remain firm on his own Gujarat and his own Saurashtra.

There are normative as well as operational reasons for focusing on youth. On the normative side, young people have the right to be heard, participate in and have influence on local, national and global development. They are the ones who will be living with the consequences of the political decisions made today; and it is only by engaging and working with them that the international community will be able to achieve peace, security, justice and sustainable development for all and thus live up to the principle of leaving no one behind.

Every person grows the most in their youth. People go through times of joy, hardship, worry but at the end of the day, we all become better. Youth has to be the most important part of everyone’s life, considering just how much one person can develop during these years. These years will not only offer opportunities for growth but will also help us in getting a better understanding of ourselves. This understanding of oneself is an unending process. It marks its beginning in our youth and continues to be a major part of our lives in the future. We grow as people, learn how to develop relationships, and understand the people around us much better when we reach our youth.

Bharat sir explained to us what is our role as a youth in our society. He explained to us about NSS. Its main purpose was to make us aware of NSS.Especially us because we are Sem 1 students.He used to sing very good lines, Gujarati poems, folk songs in between. He told him a very nice thing that only one who sings from the navel can become a good poet. And indeed he himself was doing the same He used to sing like a singer.Everyone was very happy. Told him a poetry"Wo Jawani Jawani Nahi,Jisme Kahani Nahi."

He told us the story of Safin Hasan. And awakened all. He told us many things related to youth like suicide, cyber crime, youth and their problems. He gave a very nice definition of parashakti. According to NSS definition -"Para in Parashakti means body and mind, connect your body and mind with creation."

After today's program every student must have felt the power hidden within him/her.Finally the thanksgiving ceremony was done and Bharat sir took feedback from some students. On behalf of every student, I sincerely thank every professor for inviting such good speakers.

Teacher's Day Celebration

Teacher’s Day, celebrated on September 5, is the occasion to honour the invaluable contributions of teachers. September 5 is celebrated as Teacher’s Day as it commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered scholar and philosopher. The choice of this date originates from Dr. Radhakrishnan's own humility and his strong affinity for teaching.

During his tenure as the President of India, Dr. Radhakrishnan's associates proposed that his birthday be observed as a national holiday. He humbly suggested that instead of honouring him, the day should honour teachers. He firmly believed that teachers played a pivotal role in shaping the nation's future and should be duly acknowledged.

On 5 September 2024  Self Teacher Day was celebrated at Government Arts College Talaja. Many students participated in it .In which some played their role as a teacher, some played their role as a principal, some played their role as an administrator, some played their role as a peon.

After we attended the 3 lectures in the morning, there was a program at 11:30. In which the staff was encouraged on the occasion of today's Teacher's Day. All the teachers explained their content very well and we had a lot of fun. At the end of the program those who participated in Self Teacher Day were given a number of which 3 students stood at the first position.There were two students in the second position and three students in the third position. He was gifted a book from the college.

Indian culture gives immense importance to the relationship between gurus and shishyas (teachers and students). While students get the opportunity to express their gratitude and appreciation, teachers get a chance to self-reflect and create a healthy and motivating environment for students.

Classroom Activities

 Hello Dear Friends

         Here is Aarzoo Pathan blog. On August,24 2024 the Government Arts College Talaja the activities for B.A First year students which are base on life skill as part of our syllabus. This blog is given by our prof.Hinaba Sarvaiya. This activity base on my thinking.

      On 17 August we all Students give a presentation on life skill like self awareness,self confidence, problem solving skills, emotional intelligence, etc.on this week 24 August We had to do the activity. All my classmates participated. I also participated. Although this activity was not compulsory, everyone willingly participated

          First, Mansi Bhatt, who was studying with us, brought an activity on emotional intelligence. First Mansi explained us about her topic in brief and then made her do the activity. His activity , first took a page and wrote that question in it and we all wrote the answer to that question on our own page. Ask yourself what is the reason behind your happiness or sadness, what do you do when you are happy or sad etc. We enjoyed doing this activity. We all know what makes us happy.

           After that Sheetal Baraiah brought her activity on copying emotion She explained about her activity. Am I Emotional?That was her topic name. She made some notes in which some emotions were written like happy, sad, excited, love, jealous etc. She played the music and whoever got the note took one of them they without talking expression like writing on note and we have to guess what is that emotion.

          Similarly many students did different activities and we all had a lot of fun with our prof. Hinaba Sarvaiya encouraged us a lot and enjoyed with us.

International Lord Krishna's Painting Exhibition 2024

Here is Aarzoo Pathan blog .This blog took us from college The Famous Khodidas Parmar Lord Krishna painting exhibition visited.This is my first blog.

Who Is Khodidas Parmar?

Khodidas Parmar was born on 31 July 1930 and was the only son of a poor Karadiya Rajput Family. He was named after the goddess Khodiyar as the family thought of him being a gift from the goddess afer many daughters. Though hailing from a poor family. His parents were detwrmined for him to get a good education. He did his M.A. with Gujrati and Sanskrit, learnt painting even as he studied and went on to. Become a guide to student doing doctoral research on folk literature for their Ph.D. He was trained in art by Guru Somalal Shah from 1948-1951 whom he met at the Alfred high school.

On Saturday, 17 August 2024, students and staff from Government Arts College Talaja, had the privilege of visiting the International Lord Krishna's Painting Exhibition held at Model School in Talaja, Bhavnagar.

Sri Krishna Picture Exhibition organized by late Khodidas Parmar Foundation, famous painter of Bhavnagar, today at Talaja Government Model School. In which some of the young painters of Gujarat as well as the students of various schools made an artistic and beautiful display of paintings In which some of the painting were beautiful and mesmerizing which we were all impressed to see.

Also, the students and teachers of the model school made a beautiful arrangement Educational institutions and painting lovers of Talaja visits this exhibition
